About Saclay

Saclay is located on the Plateau de Mulon about 20 km southern Paris and about 10 km eastern than Versailles nearby the Natural National Park of La Chevreuse which used to be the chasing territory of  king Luis XIII. In the early fifties Saclay was the chosen as the building location of first French atomic research center (CEA). Since times goes public research centers (CNRS), universities (University Paris Sud XI, Supéléc) and high technological value private companies have been raised in the surrounding area. Now a days Plateau de Mulon  represents the biggest aggregation area of scientific and technological research in whole France.
